Hungry Planet Shop

Our main focus of the shop is to provide as many products as possible in the most ethical shopping method available.

This centers around refilling containers (Bags / bottles / airtight plastic containers) that you provide, filling the container yourself and recieving a discount for doing so (Currently 10% less, more on some toiletries and household products).

We also ask that you pay cash for any discounted transaction, as this saves us the card processing fee.

The money we save on base costs helps us to buy larger bags of bulk items and pass the savings along to you.

Free paper bags are available, however, if you have not brought a container with you. We also stock high quality Kilner jars (900ml and 1550ml), smaller screw top jars (40ml-300ml), and glass bottles with high quality stoppers (200ml & 500ml). If you buy a jar and fill that instore, this also entitles you to a 10% discount on the item you have filled the jar with.

In addition to the loose bulk items we stock a wide range of Organic, Fair trade and gluten free products as well as ethical toiletries and other non food items.

Discounts of 5% are available for Vegan society members, Students and OAP's. (Show relevant current card each time before purchase). Please note that this discount does not stack with the 10% refill discount, but you can combine it in the same transaction to receive 5% discount on your other shopping.
